We are currently hiring for a Driver Assistant / General Labour for an On-Call Scheduled position.
What You'll Be Doing- Assist drivers and field technicians with daily job site tasks
- Lift, move, and position manhole covers and related materials
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (rain, heat, cold)
- Follow direction from the driver/team lead to complete jobs efficiently
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe
- Support basic equipment handling and setup as required
- Adhere to all health & safety protocols at all times
What We're Looking For- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability - shows up ready to work
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Previous general labour or construction experience is an asset (but not required)
- Valid G license is considered an asset
