Harland Veinotte Ltd is located in Morrisburg, Ontario. We are seeking professional experienced drivers to join our team. Our focus is servicing various container yards in Montreal, including Termont, Viau, Cast, Racine, CN, Ultra and other intermodal yards. A typical day consists of running two trips from Morrisburg to the Port of Montreal. We operate B-trains, single chassis', flatbed and dry-box trailers. We are looking for dedicated company minded day cab drivers. Our drivers are home every night and have weekends off however we do offer a few bunk trucks for those looking for medium haul opportunities. We have premium equipment, excellent freight lanes and competitive compensation. Our facility has on-site maintenance, fuel, washbay, training and a fully operational container yard. Our management staff is friendly and experienced, most of us have our AZ and often drive ourselves, we make it a point to keep in touch with the work. Come join our team.
Role Requirements:- Average work week: 55-60 hours.
- Days of operation: Monday - Friday.
- Typical shift: 6AM - 6PM
- Current drivers & CVOR abstract required.
- Current criminal record search.
- Pre-employement and random drug-screening.
Compensation:- Hourly Routes:
- Montreal & Ottawa routes, paid hourly:
- Hourly rate: $30.00 (1 year verifiable AZ experiance)
- Hourly rate: $27.00 (less than 1 year verifiable AZ experiance)
- Mile & Stop Routes:
- Routes exceeding 175 KM radius of Morrisburg, paid mile & stop:
- Mile & stop rate: $0.53/ mile
- Freight stops: $20.35
- B-train ’20 + ’20 premium.
- B-train ’20 + ’40 premium.
- TDG premium for mile & stop.
- Additional Pay:
- Paid truck washing at yard facility: $30.00/hr
- Training & credentialling: $30.00/hr.
