Responsibilities- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality standards.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant branding and customer preferences.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold operational efficiency.
Experience- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse culinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management principles, including inventory control and cost management.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Previous experience in a leadership role such as Sous Chef or Executive Chef is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on leadership and customer service excellence.
Qualifications- 3–5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
