Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home support to clients in need of assistance with daily activities. This role is vital in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Prior experience with dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support patients with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
• Assist with activities of daily living such as toileting and mobility assistance
• Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments through specialized caregiving techniques
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client safety

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings preferred
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is beneficial
• Ability to perform caregiving duties that may involve heavy lifting and physical activity
• Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor are essential for building trusting relationships with clients
• Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates
