Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in their homes and community settings. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and overall condition
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Support clients with mobility using equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments
• Certifications such as First Aid, CPR and nursing home or hospice care experience are highly valued
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
• Familiarity with care plans, medication administration procedures
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate attitude combined with the physical stamina required for active caregiving tasks
