Role Summary:This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants hands-on experience across People Ops and Learning & Development.
This role is a 12-month maternity leave cover contract, supporting the team during a temporary leave of absence.
As an HR & LMS Coordinator, you’ll support everything from onboarding new hires to helping manage our learning platform (Docebo). You’ll be involved in the day-to-day operations that keep the team running smoothly and play a real part in shaping employee experience in our Toronto office and across North America.
This is a 12-month contract role based in our Toronto office with a hybrid working setup where you would work in the office 3-4 days a week.

What You'll be Doing:- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for North American employees, including preboarding communications, system setup, and documentation
- Set up new hires in systems like BambooHR and support general HR admin tasks
- Assist with managing our LMS (Learning Management System) - Decebo, including adding users, assigning courses, and tracking completion
- Support the Learning & Development team with uploading training content and organizing learning sessions
- Help track required training (e.g., compliance courses) across teams
- Assist with preparing HR documents, coordinating with payroll, and updating policies as needed
- Support internal communications, including weekly updates and Town Hall coordination
- Keep the Toronto office running smoothly - from snacks and supplies to vendor coordination
- Organize employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives
About You:- 0-2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles all count)
- Interested in HR, people operations, or learning & development
- Organized and detail-oriented — you don’t let things slip through the cracks
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proactive and willing to jump in and figure things out
- Experience with tools like BambooHR or Docebo is a bonus, not a must
- Basic knowledge of HR or employment standards is helpful, but you’ll learn on the job

The annual base salary for this role is $60,000 - 65,000 CAD.
