Progressive Pathways Behaviour & Disability Services Association is a community-based non-profit organization providing supports to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through inclusive, person-centred, and culturally respectful services.
We are currently seeking a Support Worker to provide direct support to an individual with disabilities. This role requires a confident, compassionate, and engaged support professional who is comfortable working with cognitive delays and capacity-related needs, and who can provide structured, consistent support in the community and in day-to-day routines. The successful applicant must also be capable of supporting an individual who may experience escalated behavioural episodes, where behavioural interventions and physical restraint may be required to maintain safety, in accordance with approved training and established support protocols.
We are seeking a dedicated, trauma-informed Support Worker to provide consistent, high-quality care for individuals with complex special needs. This role requires a strong understanding of developmental delays, trauma, and high-risk behaviours (including flight risk).
This is a structured, consistency-based role ideal for someone who is experienced, calm under pressure, and committed to person-centred care.
We are willing to train the right candidate, however relevant experience is strongly preferred.
