Role OverviewThis is a part-time role (minimum 3 days per week) focused primarily on residential projects.
You will create renderings and visual design concepts based on client needs, while also developing content for our social media using your work.
When there are active projects, you will support by translating ideas into clear, practical visuals. When there are no active projects, you will develop design concepts, explore materials, and create content for platforms like Instagram.
This role is ideal for a designer who wants their work to be seen, shared, and built.
Key Responsibilities- Create renderings and plan based on client requirements and design direction
- Translate client ideas into clear, practical visual concepts
- Develop design concepts and content for social media (IG)
- Assist with material selection and research for future projects
- Prepare simple floor plans or drawings for internal use when needed
- Organize and maintain visual/design materials
- Attend site visits when required
Requirements- Strong rendering skills (SketchUp, Enscape, or similar)
- Ability to understand client vision and translate it into design
- Comfortable presenting and explaining design ideas
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Strong execution and time management ability
- Basic understanding of residential renovation and materials is an asset
- Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
Work Environment- On-site role based in our studio, with site visits as required
- Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
