About the RoleVirtual TechPool is an IT managed service provider servicing clients in across the GTA. We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to provide Entry Level Technical Support for Windows PCs, laptops, and peripherals. You’ll troubleshoot hardware/software issues, assist with network and server tasks, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support for Windows devices; Mac/Linux skills are a plus.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (via phone, remote tools, or onsite).
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- M365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint )
- Log and update support requests in the Service Desk system.
- Work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative.
Requirements- Post-secondary education
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a technical support/helpdesk role (new grads considered).
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
- Must be able to work to specified standards and required levels of conduct, and sound ethical workplace practices.
- Experience building, configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware components.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
