Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Information Technology Manager. This is a full-time year-round position, reporting to the Area Manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player and will have previous supervisory and IT experience. Role SummaryThe IT Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive technology support across the entire Kimberley RCR operation, including Kimberley Alpine Resort, Trickle Creek Golf Resort, Buckhorn & Main Mountain Eatery, Trickle Creek Lodge, and the Kimberley Conference Centre.
This role supports all departments by ensuring reliable IT systems, maintaining infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Systems/hardware support for all facets/departments of a busy ski and golf resort computer network
- Program/software support to staff
- Web page design/programming with visual basic skills an asset
- Maintain policies and procedures of RCR IT service to ensure company goals are met and guest expectations are exceeded.
- Maintain equipment fleet including, inventory control, maintenance, repairs, and disposal.
- Consultation and collaboration with other RCR departments and external industry representatives as required to meet objectives
- Maintain and contribute to the corporate values of RCR.
Qualifications- Information Technology related education/certification/degree
- 2+ years related work experience
- Experience working in professional, profit and guest service focused environment
Conditions- Full-time year-round position, scheduled to work a minimum of 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period
- Work flexible shifts, varying hours
- Working holidays, weekends and evenings can be expected
Compensation and Benefits- Competitive salary: 61,600-70,000 dependent on experience
