We are hiring an IT Specialist – Tier 2 for our North Vancouver-based client. This is a dynamic role that combines hands-on, on-site support with involvement in upcoming IT projects and initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, including experience with IP networking and Linux systems. As this position includes regular on-site client support, a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

About The OpportunityThis is a hands-on IT role responsible for managing and supporting client systems, including cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, networking, and endpoints. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement IT projects, and optimize client environments while maintaining high service standards. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, clear communication with clients and internal teams, and the ability to take ownership of systems, configurations, and technical domains.
About The Position- Lead and deliver IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Manage and take ownership of client systems, including cloud and hybrid environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers, and endpoints).
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide professional on-site and remote support with a focus on reliability and client satisfaction.
- Assist with device automation, policy implementation, and process improvements to optimize client environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures, and use ticketing systems to prioritize and track work effectively.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for colleagues and support knowledge sharing across the team.
- Participate in client onboarding, migrations, and special projects, while evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies.
The Requirements- Minimum of 3 years supporting IT environments in business or professional settings.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanor and confidence when interacting directly with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
- Solid understanding of IP networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and Wi?Fi.
- Experience managing hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises systems, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across hardware, software, and cloud systems.
- Post-secondary diploma, degree, or relevant technical certifications.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Compensation- Annual salary range $85,000 - $100,000.
