Job SummaryICON Visual is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager – Fabrication to support the end-to-end production of signage, visual merchandising, and environmental graphics. This role assists in managing projects from estimation and quoting through production and installation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to ICON’s quality standards.
The Junior Project Manager works closely with internal teams, vendors, and installers to support project execution while developing strong project management and production knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:Project Lifecycle Management- Assist in managing fabrication projects from initial brief through production and installation.
- Support the development of project timelines, schedules, and task tracking.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues to senior team members when needed.
Client & Stakeholder Communication- Support communication between internal teams, vendors, and installers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in translating project requirements into actionable production tasks.
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders and help track project progress.
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members and external partners.
Estimating & Budget Oversight- Draft detailed quotes and cost estimates based on details provided by the General Manager, Fabrication, when necessary.
- Assist in tracking project costs and supporting budget management.
- Help coordinate purchase orders and vendor communication.
Production Coordination- Coordinate with internal ICON Project Coordinator, third-party installers, and external suppliers to meet deadlines.
- Support scheduling of production runs and assist in managing workflow.
- Help ensure accurate work orders and production documentation are prepared and distributed.
Quality Assurance- Assist in reviewing artwork, specifications, and production details for accuracy.
- Conduct final quality checks virtually or in-person if needed before shipment or installation.
- Oversee installation virtually or in-person to ensure all project benchmarks are met.
Documentation & Reporting- Maintain organized project documentation including quotes, work orders, and production notes.
- Support tracking of timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production and project processes.
Required Qualifications:- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, production, or a related field (signage, print, fabrication, or similar industries preferred).
- Basic understanding of production processes such as large-format printing, fabrication, or installation is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management or ERP tools is an asset.
