Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Care Crew Lead to oversee and execute lawn care and property maintenance work.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be working alongside your crew while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small crew on daily mowing and maintenance routes
• Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and general property upkeep
• Spring & fall cleanups (leaf removal, shrub trimming, weeding, edging)
• Ongoing garden maintenance (weeding, mulching, pruning)
• Assist with seasonal work (plow prep, stake installation/removal, moving salt bins)
• Ensure proper use and care of tools and equipment
• Keep jobs on schedule and running efficiently
• Communicate with clients when needed and handle basic concerns
• Train and support crew members as needed
• Ensure work is completed properly before leaving each site

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or property maintenance
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work full days outdoors
• Reliable and consistent (shows up on time every day)
• Ability to take ownership and make decisions on the job

Work Details

• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract (required)
• Reliable transportation (bus route not reliable)
• Comfortable operating lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
• Physically capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
