Summary

As a Learning & Development Intern/Co‑op, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the development of our learning strategy and helping bring learning programs to life across our North American sites.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging professional who is passionate about corporate learning, enjoys working with digital tools, and is excited to gain hands-on experience in an HR/L&D environment. You will collaborate closely with HR, plant leadership, and frontline teams to help create engaging and scalable learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Culture Support

• Assist in research, benchmarking, and content development to support the design of our learning strategy.
• Help create materials that promote a culture of curiosity, growth, and continuous improvement.
• Support internal communication efforts related to learning initiatives.

Learning Program Development

• Contribute to the creation of learning assets such as job aids, onboarding materials, eLearning drafts, presentations, and training resources.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather input, document processes, and translate knowledge into clear learning content.
• Support logistics for training sessions (scheduling, preparing materials, coordinating attendees).

Digital Tools & Content Creation

• Use software tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, AI, e-learning platforms, design tools) to build and update learning content.
• Help maintain and organize our learning libraries, digital content repositories, and training records.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

• Support the collection and analysis of learning metrics, survey results, attendance data, and feedback.
• Help identify opportunities to enhance learning content or processes based on data insights.

General Coordination & Project Support

• Assist with project tracking, documentation, and status updates.
• Support ad hoc learning and employee experience initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Recent graduate or student in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong digital and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
• Ability to organize information clearly and communicate effectively.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Nice To Have (Assets, Not Requirements)

• Experience with learning design tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Adobe Express) or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to or interest in corporate learning, HR, or employee experience.
• Familiarity with data analysis or dashboards (Excel, Power BI).
• Experience working in a corporate, industrial, or operations environment (co‑op, part-time, or volunteer).
