Nox Wine Bar is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Garde Manger to join our tight-knit kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who loves beautiful plating, fresh ingredients, and creating visually stunning small plates in a cozy, intimate, and highly creative environment.

As part of a small team, you’ll play a key role in elevating the guest experience through consistency, organization, and artistry. You’ll work closely with ownership to bring thoughtful, flavour-driven dishes to life — including salads, small plates, charcuterie, cold features, garnishes, and composed dishes that represent the heart of Nox.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, assemble, and beautifully plate all cold dishes, salads, charcuterie boards, and small plates
• Execute recipes and plating guides with precision and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station at all times
• Assist with prep for features, events, and daily service
• Follow Health Board and internal sanitation standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service
• Operate the kitchen during busy periods and contribute positively to the overall flow
• Participate in creative input for garnish ideas, boards, and new small-plate concepts
• Clean and organize the kitchen, make prep and inventory lists

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have experience working in garde manger or a similar station
• Are organized, calm, efficient, and able to maintain a clean workspace
• Have excellent attention to detail — especially in plating and presentation
• Love working in a small, collaborative kitchen environment
• Are comfortable working with induction burners and convection ovens (bonus)
• Have strong knife skills and solid ingredient knowledge
• Enjoy creating beautiful, Instagram-worthy dishes
• Want to grow within a creative wine-forward restaurant
