OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook with experience in Greek cuisine to join our growing kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in preparing traditional Greek dishes, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality food consistently.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook Greek menu items including grilled meats, skewers, and traditional dishes
- Cook proteins such as steak and chicken skewers to proper temperature and quality standards
- Perform prep tasks including chopping, marinating, portioning, and organizing ingredients
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist during busy service hours and support team members as needed
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of food items
Requirements- Minimum 3 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Proven experience with Greek cuisine (must-have)
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Excellent knife skills and grilling experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Mediterranean or Greek restaurants
- Familiarity with traditional Greek ingredients and preparation techniques
