Job DescriptionJoin Strategies North Advisory Inc. ("SN") as our new Marketing & Communications Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time remote position reporting to the Director of Operations. In this role, you will be the engine behind our company-wide communications, responsible for the "voice" and visual brand of Strategies North.
While our firm works closely with First Nations and municipalities, this role is internally focused; your "clients" are our leadership and staff. This is a hands-on position: you will be the primary creator of our digital content, marketing materials, and internal/external newsletters, ensuring all materials accurately reflect our values and the impact of our work.
SN offers competitive compensation and a remote work environment. The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple moving parts with composure, ensuring our messaging is culturally respectful, technically accurate, and visually engaging.
About UsStrategies North was founded in 2015 to build Indigenous capacity and support thriving Indigenous communities. That purpose still unites and drives our highly-skilled team. As a result, we focus on projects that matter to the communities we work with and build partnerships through respect and trust.
About YouYou are a "full-stack" communicator who loves to both dream and do. You are looking for more than just a job; you want to use your storytelling and design skills to help a purpose-driven firm grow. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess the professional maturity to refine and maintain our company’s voice. We are a community-driven team that works fluidly, and we need a highly adaptable self-starter who can take a rough vision from leadership and turn it into a polished, professional reality. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot when priorities shift. You don’t just wait for instructions—you identify gaps, suggest improvements, and bring a "how can I help?" attitude to the table without needing a step-by-step manual.
