Position Summary:Under the general supervision of the Director of Administration & Communications and functional supervision of the Membership Officer, the Membership Assistant shall input and update data in the Membership Database software program, communicate with Moose Cree First Nation member to request updated contact information and generate reports as required. The incumbent shall be responsible for carrying out the duties specified in a manner that will contribute to an updated and accurate electronic data management system.
Qualifications/Requirements:- Successful completion of Grade 12.
- Willingness to learn the Membership Database System.
- Must be an Indian Registration Administrator or be willing to acquire the Indian Registration Administrator certification.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under minimum supervision.
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of other database systems is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in the Cree language is an asset.
- A valid Class “G” driver’s license is an asset.
- Must submit a recent satisfactory C.P.I.C. or proof of application.
- Copy of diploma/certification to be submitted with resume.
Salary: $58,500.00- $74,080.50
Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
