About SpendsafeSpendsafe is a digital money platform, based in Toronto, Canada; designed to help parents raise financially capable kids before they enter adulthood. Built for families with children ages 8–14, Spendsafe combines structured allowance, real-world spending, savings goals, and early investing — all in a safe, parent-supervised environment. Today’s kids are already spending digitally. Spendsafe gives them the structure, tools, and experience to learn how money works before the stakes get higher.
We’re looking for a marketing-focused graphic designer who understands how design supports installs, engagement, and retention across mobile fintech ecosystems—and who uses modern tools (including AI) to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
The RoleThis role is ideal for a designer who can independently own marketing design projects end-to-end—from concept to delivery—while collaborating closely with growth and product teams. You’ll design assets used across app store presence, lifecycle marketing, websites, and organic social channels for mobile apps.
What You’ll DesignYou’ll create conversion-focused marketing assets, including:
- Landing pages (desktop + mobile responsive)
- App store assets (App Store & Google Play screenshots, feature graphics, promotional visuals)
- Organic social assets (static posts, carousels, story formats)
- Email marketing assets (headers, content blocks, promotional visuals)
- Website & blog visuals (feature callouts, banners, illustrations)
- Reusable design templates for ongoing marketing initiatives
- Brand identities and brand guidelines created from scratch when needed
Required Hard Skills (Must-Have)Mobile & Marketing Design- Experience designing for mobile-first marketing funnels
- Strong understanding of conversion-oriented layout, hierarchy, and messaging
- Ability to design assets that support multiple channels
- Comfortable creating brand systems and visual guidelines from the ground up
Design Tools & AI- Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or modern alternatives such as Canva
- Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools to support asset creation, ideation, iteration, and scaling
- Strong design judgment—knowing when and how to use AI appropriately
Channels & Formats- Landing page design (Webflow- or CMS-friendly layouts)
- App Store & Google Play screenshot storytelling
- Static social assets (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
- Email-ready designs (HTML-friendly layouts, slicing awareness)
Self-Management & Execution- Highly self-managed and organized, with the ability to track requests and priorities
- Comfortable working from briefs, async feedback, or minimal direction
- Consistently delivers projects on time and to spec
- Strong file organization and handoff practices
- Proactive communicator who flags risks, timelines, or dependencies early
Nice-to-Have (Optional)- Experience designing for fintech products
- Familiarity with ASO best practices
- In-app illustration and icon work
- Light motion or animated assets
