Systems Administrator

We are looking for a talented systems administrator who is looking to expand their experience and contribute within a team where your future is our priority.

Requirements and Skills:

• Have a technical diploma or degree
• Fluent English
• Experience setting up routers/firewalls – NAT policies, intrusion prevention, etc.
• Experience with Windows Server and Server Services
• Experience installing and configuring WiFi access points/controllers
• Office 365 suite
• 1+ years working experience in systems administrator role
• Common sense problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with an MSP (managed service provider)
• Ticketing and time management applications
• Automation tools
• Experience with image-based backup applications and best practice setup/retention policies

Job Description:

• Handle workstation/server issues or tasks for our customers
• Contribute to implementations for customer infrastructure work
• Implement IT standards and best practices to ensure high degree of end user satisfaction
• Server Administration and Management: Setup, install, configure, administer, maintain, monitor and support physical and virtual servers including Windows servers, VMware ESX / VSphere
• Remote Access: Configure and maintain remote access technologies and access such as Remote Desktops Services, VPN, SSL VPNs, 3rd party connection apps
• Ensure project deliverables match user’s expectations by proactively informing managers and users of progress/obstacles
• Creation and review of event post mortem / root cause analysis (RCA) documentation to ensure accurate and meaningful post mortems are created. Review all post mortem documents and implement procedures to minimize future service outages and shorten the duration
• Manage customer disaster recovery systems
