Job Description:Telegroup Security is seeking a skilled and reliable Network & Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, terminating, and troubleshooting network and low voltage cabling systems, along with experience working with CCTV and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, route, and terminate network (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber) and low voltage cabling
- Install and configure CCTV and surveillance systems (IP cameras, NVR)
- Perform testing, labeling, and documentation of cable runs
- Troubleshoot connectivity and system issues
- Ensure installations meet industry standards and safety regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team on job sites
Requirements:- Proven experience in network cabling and low voltage installations
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and security hardware
- Ability to use cable testing tools and installation equipment
- Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, switches, routers)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at heights and in various environments
