Continuing Education - Summer Online Learning
Summer Session will run from June 29, 2026 to July 29, 2026
Rate of Pay: $17.96 Per Lesson Marked (Maximum of 20 lessons)
Positions will be awarded early June
Teachers may be required for courses in the following areas:The Arts - Intermediate
Business Studies - Intermediate/Senior
Canadian and World Studies - Intermediate/Senior (English & French)
English - Intermediate/Senior
French as a Second Language - Intermediate/Senior
Guidance and Career Education - Intermediate/Senior (English & French)
Health and Physical Education - Intermediate/Senior (English & French)
Mathematics - Intermediate/Senior
Science - Intermediate/Senior
Social Science and Humanities - Intermediate/Senior
Technological Education - Intermediate
International Languages Spanish - Intermediate
Qualifications- Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate
- Religious Education Part 1 would be considered an asset.
- Qualifications with respect to specialized subjects will be required, as per Ministry regulations.

Other Information related to the position:- Teachers will be paid $17.96 per lesson marked to a maximum of twenty (20) lessons. No additional lessons can be claimed for communications with students.;
- A course will run as long as at least one student registers;
- Training for the online learning website and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) will be provided, as required. All teachers hired for online courses must be comfortable using a computer, file folders, email and a variety of software;
- Teachers will be required to complete and submit an Excel mark book template
- Complete a Register of Enrolment at the end of the summer session, as per Ministry requirements.
- Teachers will be required to submit final marks to the Reservation Database
