About the RoleGGA is seeking experienced and dedicated English instructors to join our growing online team. We specialize in high-quality academic writing instruction for K-12 students. We are specifically looking for teachers who are experts in the National Geographic "Great Writing" series and can deliver engaging, results-driven lessons in a small-group setting (2-3 students per class).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver online writing lessons using the Great Writing curriculum (Levels 1-5).
- Facilitate small group classes (2-3 students) via the ClassIn teaching platform.
- Assign and grade homework, providing detailed and constructive feedback to help students improve their academic writing skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
Required Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional English teaching experience.
- Curriculum Expertise: Proven familiarity and experience teaching the Great Writing series.
- Technology: Proficient in using ClassIn or a strong willingness to master the platform quickly.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Status: Must be able to work as an Independent Contractor.
Preferred Qualifications- Current or former K-12 certified teachers in Canada (OCT or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- TESL/TESOL/CELTA certification.
- Experience with academic writing assessment and rubric-based grading.
