Our People Team is small, collaborative, and supports 200+ Geminians globally. We’re a fully remote team, with optional in-person time in Markham and Waterloo when we want to connect face-to-face.
The RoleThis is a hands-on, high-impact People role where you’ll help shape the employee experience across the full lifecycle.
You deliver HR operations tasks across all HR disciplines; from recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compliance – that enables employees and leaders to meet their organizational goals.
What needs to get done- Workday Wizardry: adding new employees to Workday, leveraging reporting to support decision making
- Onboarding and Offboarding: welcome new employees and offboard departing employees
- Partnership: supporting a small number of managers with HR matters

Typical Tasks- Meeting with managers regularly and supporting active HR matters
- Welcome new employees on their first day
- Answer employee questions
- Performance Review and Engagement Survey cycle management and reporting
- Acquisition support as required
- Regular Workday administration
About You 🫵- 2-3 years of experience with People Operations, with a significant focus on vertical SaaS or vertical software companies
- Experience with HRIS administration (Workday experience will be an asset)
- Keen curiosity supported by a strong sense urgency
- You enjoy operational, detail-oriented work and take pride in getting things right
- Experience working with people at all levels of the organization
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Curious about how AI can improve the way work gets done.

This role has an expected salary range of $60-70,000 annually.
