ABOUT THE ROLEAmrize has an opportunity for individuals looking to make a career in manufacturing management. The Production & Process Analyst is a cross-functional role focused on ensuring commercial, logistics, production, and accounting functions are accurate and timely. This role will utilize data analysis to improve business processes, Key Performance Indicators, and develop recommendations, serving as a critical pathway to interdisciplinary management experience within the Aggregates business.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH- Gain widespread expertise in the Aggregate business, building a long-term career in mining or construction.
- Ensure commercial, logistics, production, and accounting functions are accurate and timely.
- Use background to improve business processes, Key Performance Indicators, field analysis, and develop recommendations for improvements.
- Work with data and metrics to help drive business improvements.
- Participate in and, in some cases, lead a broad range of projects.
- Promote a culture of safety with an objective of “zero” incidents.
- Lead or participate in Sales, Production, Inventory (SPI) processes, data, coordination and reporting.
- Develop and prepare forecasts, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science; or Business Administration Degree/Diploma with relevant experience.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 0 - 3 years of relevant experience, including co-op terms or internships.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Advanced MS Excel, and the agility to quickly learn and utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, PowerBI, Salesforce).
- Certifications: Class G License.
- Core Competencies: Intellectual Horsepower & Statistical Analysis, Action-Oriented & Results Driven, Business Acumen, Dealing with Ambiguity, Presentation & Communication, and Interpersonal Savvy & Collaboration.
Additional Requirements:- Travel within the SW Agg group to various locations, using personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
