About the OpportunityScout Talent is currently working on behalf of our client to find a full-time Project Administrator / Bookkeeper based in Maple Ridge, BC.
Reporting to the Finance/Admin team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project financials, billing coordination, and administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and smooth day-to-day operations across multiple projects.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing project billing, tracking budgets, and providing administrative and bookkeeping support to maintain accurate financial visibility and meet key deadlines.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and issuing invoices, including progress and time-and-material billing
- Tracking and updating project budgets, costs, and financial data
- Gathering and organizing financial documentation from internal systems
- Supporting monthly reporting and ensuring accuracy of financial records
- Maintaining project files, spreadsheets, and administrative documentation
- Coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing and financial inquiries
- Assisting with accounts payable/receivable and general bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Utilizing Excel and internal systems to manage and report on financial data
About YouTo qualify, you will need 5+ years of experience in an administrative, financial support, or similar role, along with strong Excel skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience with project billing, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Bookkeeping experience or exposure to accounting functions
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems
