The Project Assistant, Strategy & Transformation supports the Strategy & Transformation Office in advancing enterprise transformation initiatives, corporate and clinical strategy, and priority operational projects. The Project Assistant contributes to analysis, coordination, and the development of project materials that help translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives. This role offers meaningful, hands-on experience supporting SHN’s strategic and operational priorities.
Here's What You'll Get To DoThe Project Assistant provides day-to-day coordination and analytical support across multiple initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting project coordination to ensure activities progress as planned
- Tracking milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project trackers, dashboards, and status reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Maintaining and updating project documentation, including decision logs, RACI charts, risk and issue logs, and status summaries
- Updating dashboards and reports to track performance, outcomes, and benefits
- Identifying and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies, and supporting the tracking of mitigation actions
- Assisting with basic qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting
- Coordinating cross-team communication, scheduling meetings, and managing follow-ups
- Preparing meeting agendas and materials, facilitating meetings and working sessions, and capturing meeting notes and action items
- Collaborating with Transformation Leads, stakeholders, and functional subject matter experts
- Preparing clear, concise presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials to support decision-making
Here's What You Will Need- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, health administration, public policy, or a related discipline)
- Experience in a project coordination, junior analyst, or administrative role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and schedules simultaneously
- Analytical skills, including the ability to support performance tracking, reporting, and benefits realization
- Basic knowledge of project management concepts and tools, including RAID logs and RACI matrices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences from frontline teams to senior leaders
- Strong facilitation skills, including experience preparing agendas and capturing clear, accurate meeting notes and action items
- Excellent organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
