We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that directly impact how our products are made, scaled, and delivered. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own projects end-to-end—from concept through to commissioning—within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You’ll report to a forward-thinking, innovative leader known for a modern approach and strong team development focus—someone who will challenge and support you to do your best work. What skills, responsibilities and experiences this teammate brings- A degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar)
- 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial construction, or manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders at once
- Strong communication skills—you can translate technical details into clear, actionable insights
- Experience with capital projects (ideally up to ~$2M), including contractor coordination and procurement
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, safety, and quality
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards is an asset
- P.Eng (or working toward it) is considered an asset
What this teammate is responsible for- Leading end-to-end delivery of capital projects—from planning and design through to execution and commissioning
- Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with operational priorities
- Driving process and equipment improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful execution
- Overseeing procurement, contractor performance, and on-site construction activities
- Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting to support plant operations
- Ensuring all projects meet EH&S, Quality, and Food Safety standards
- Reporting on project progress and proactively identifying risks and solutions

Additional details- Based in Grimsby, ON, with regular travel across the Niagara region (~15%)
- Split between office and production environments
