Who we needDue to significant growth, Array is in search of a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. You will apply your expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, root cause analysis, and quality systems management to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in production, engineering, and operations, you will develop practical solutions that enhance product quality, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen compliance with internal and external standards.
This is an existing, full-time vacancy, working 5 days per week on-site at our Scarborough manufacturing facility.

As our new Quality & CI Engineer, you will:- Lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency gains across manufacturing and administrative processes. You will apply structured problem-solving methods and Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5 Whys, and SMED to identify and implement process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions. You will perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate product and process issues and lead the implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). You will ensure corrective actions are documented, implemented, and sustained to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain quality systems and documentation. You will support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective management of CAPA processes and corrective actions across the organization. You will develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality system documentation to support consistent production standards.
- Oversee quality lab operations. You will support Quality Lab activities, including equipment calibration, testing procedures, and measurement systems, ensuring readiness and accuracy in quality verification processes.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance. You will conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. You will help maintain certification readiness for standards such as UL, CSA, and FSC.
- Collaborate with engineering teams. You will partner with engineering on Design for Manufacturability (DFM), change management, and validation of design or process changes to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor quality and CI performance. You will track and report key quality and continuous improvement KPIs, including scrap, rework, first-pass yield, audit scores, CAPA cycle time, and cost savings. You will analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support supplier quality activities. You will support supplier quality activities, including vendor audits and first-article or first-sample approvals, working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials and components meet quality and production requirements.
