Nu-Tech is an extruder of specialty alloys providing parts and material to the Nuclear, Aerospace, and Defence industries. We are located in Arnprior Ontario and have a tremendous reputation for quality, on time delivery, and excellence in manufacturing. The current growth being experienced by the company requires the addition of a Quality Assurance Assistant.
Position Summary:The Quality Assurance Assistant reports to the Quality Manager and provides support to the Quality Assurance department to ensure that customer requirements and business commitments are met. This is a new position being added to the department to aid with a growing and expanding business in the Nuclear and Aeropace industry. The position is an entry level position with possibility for on-going training in other aspects of QC/QA, Quality Programs, auditing, and other aspects of operations.
Responsibilities:- Review and entry of data into manufacturing system
- Collection of records, filing, scanning, and other administrative duties
- Document control of forms, procedures, and supplier certification
- Support the QA department in tasks to support operations, sales and purchasing.
Qualifications:- Willingness to work in a production environment and provide administrative support to the QA department.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and good typing skills
- Post secondary education in any administrative, business, or technical field would be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
