We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Manager(Food) to oversee regulatory compliance and food safety standards within our client's food processing facility in Paris, ON region.
Pay - Up to120K
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety programs including HACCP, GMP, and SQF/BRC standards
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g., CFIA, FDA, USDA as applicable)
- Lead internal and external audits, including third-party certification audits
- Oversee sanitation, allergen control, and traceability programs
- Investigate food safety incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints; implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor staff on food safety practices and procedures
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure food safety standards are met
- Maintain documentation, records, and reporting related to food safety and quality systems
- Monitor environmental and product testing programs
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance within a food processing environment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, and regulatory standards
- Experience handling audits and regulatory inspections
- Certification such as PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) or HACCP certification preferred
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
