We are seeking an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Project Manager to join our restoration team. You will oversee disaster restoration projects, including water, fire, mold, and structural damage.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of restoration projects from start to finish. This includes managing project timelines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, handling client communication, and supervising field teams. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that restoration projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Project Oversight:
- Lead and manage multiple disaster restoration projects (water, fire, mold, and structural damage) from initial assessment to final completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate and supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensure projects are completed according to company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project.
- Conduct site visits and assessments with clients to understand the scope of work and provide detailed project plans and cost estimates.
- Review and explain insurance claims and coverage with clients when necessary.
- Budget & Cost Management:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and work within project budgets.
- Track project expenses, ensuring projects are completed within the allocated budget.
- Approve or negotiate subcontractor and vendor invoices.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure that it meets or exceeds company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper work procedures.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are obtained and kept current for each project.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide guidance and leadership to restoration teams, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Offer training and support to team members, helping to build a knowledgeable and efficient workforce.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and accurate project records, including progress reports, job logs, and safety documentation.
- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and clients.
- Ensure proper documentation for all insurance claims and project closeouts.
Skills- Strong understanding of restoration processes, techniques, and equipment (water, fire, mold, and structural damage).
- Proficient in project management software (Xactimate-required) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and insurance policies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
