Role OverviewAutoShack is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager for our new AutoShack at Rona+ locations.
We are looking for someone who wants to prove themselves in a store-level leadership role, support day-to-day operations, and lead by example on the floor. The Assistant Manager is expected to maintain standards during assigned shifts and act as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager is off, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable.
This role is best suited for candidates seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity in retail leadership. Advancement opportunities exist within the company, but are based on demonstrated results, leadership maturity, and sustained success in the role over time.
What You’ll Do- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations
- Act as Manager-on-Duty during assigned shifts, manager time off, and vacation coverage
- Lead from the floor and maintain a visible leadership presence during shifts
- Coach and support associates on sales execution, customer service, and operational standards
- Drive performance across warranty attachment, AOV, customer experience, and return rate control
- Ensure company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards are followed
- Support inventory accuracy, stock organization, returns processing, and daily execution
- Resolve customer and staff issues professionally and promptly
- Maintain disciplined shift execution and consistent store standards
CompensationThis position includes a base salary plus monthly commission.
Assistant Managers are expected to participate in the monthly commission plan based on both individual performance and store performance.

Store performance metrics- Calls Answered / Abandoned
- Inventory Compliance
- Store Sales Target Performance
Based on results, Assistant Managers should reasonably expect commission earnings of approximately $150 per month on the low end, with strong performance capable of generating $550+ per month. Commission is governed by the Company’s Retail Assistant Manager compensation structure and performance expectations. The role itself includes Manager-on-Duty responsibilities and accountability for consistent store execution.
