The RoleReporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist (Retail Media) leads the growth and monetization of T&T’s Retail Media business in the mainstream brand market. This role owns strategic advertiser development, enterprise account management, and end-to-end retail media solutions, partnering cross-functionally to drive national execution, performance measurement, and long-term revenue growth.
Major Responsibilities- Own retail media sales with a primary focus on global and mainstream advertisers. Take accountability for revenue growth, advertiser acquisition, and long-term account development across assigned regions and portfolios.
- Develop and manage relationships with large enterprise clients, agency partners, and brand stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact from initial pitch through campaign execution and performance review. Engage with decision-makers across multiple marketing and media budgets to expand account scope and investment levels.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of tailored retail media proposals and high-quality RFP responses aligned with client brand, performance, and commercial objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new advertiser opportunities, maintaining a structured and scalable sales pipeline. Prioritize opportunities, coordinate internal resources, and manage revenue forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, engineering, and media partners to ensure campaigns are operationally feasible, compliant with store environments, and delivered to agreed timelines and standards.
- Work with internal and external analytics teams to support campaign measurement, reporting, and performance evaluation, using insights to inform optimization and account growth strategies.
- Support in-store media execution, including coordination on hardware installation, maintenance follow-ups, and cross-functional communication across regions.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, media, or commercial roles, preferably within retail, digital, e-commerce, or advertising/agency environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven retail or media environment, with strong understanding of omnichannel customer insights and advertiser needs.
- Proficient in business English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Chinese is a strong asset. Demonstrated excellence in business writing, copy editing, and executive-level presentations.
- Strong capability to communicate and influence across all organizational levels and with external enterprise clients, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Self-directed, highly organized, and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and business analytics tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
