The OpportunityWe are seeking a Salesforce Architect to join our consulting delivery team as the primary functional expert for our Revenue Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will be the dedicated authority on Quote-to-Cash (QTC) logic, providing specialized domain expertise to our broader team of Technical and Solution Architects.
Your focus will be on the declarative and functional design of Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). You will be responsible for ensuring that the complex revenue engines of our clients are built for scale, automation, and long-term maintainability.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual who excels at the "logic" of the platform. You enjoy being the resident expert that other consultants, admins, and architects turn to when a quoting requirements get complex, and you take pride in building systems that are both elegant and functional for our clients. You are able to simplify complex concepts when speaking to clients & peers.
What you'll be responsible for:- Domain Expertise: Serve as the "Source of Truth" for Revenue Cloud capabilities, guiding the team on how to solve complex pricing and configuration requirements using out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality
- Development Collaboration: Work alongside our Foursight (business strategy), development, and delivery teams to define functional specifications; you will provide the logical framework for developers to follow when custom integrations or specialized Apex are required
- Creation of Technical Design Docs: Creation of Technical Design Documents from Business Requirement Documents or Discovery/Scoping sessions
- Technical Implementation: Design and implement Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) features, including automated renewals, complex order management, document generation, ramp deals, and pricing procedures
- Migration Execution: Support CPQ to Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) migrations, ensuring that legacy data and business logic are correctly mapped to the modern Revenue Cloud schema
- Demo creation: Create and perform demos in both a sales and delivery context
- Billing Design & Implementation: Partner with Finance stakeholders to ensure the configuration of Revenue Cloud Billing (RCB) meets invoicing, payment, and revenue recognition requirements
- Quality Assurance: Review configuration work within the CoE to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices
What you'll bring:- CPQ Specialization: Advanced experience with Salesforce CPQ, including complex Product Rules, Price Rules, and Discounting logic
- Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA): Hands-on proficiency with RCA features, specifically including automated renewals, complex order management, document generation, ramp deals, and pricing procedures
- Declarative Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Flow and the CPQ Quote Calculator Plugin (QCP) to minimize the need for custom code
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work within an integrated project team, providing the functional "guardrails" for developers and consultants
- QTC Knowledge: A firm understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process, specifically subscription-based models and evergreen contracts
- Core Expertise (Sales & Service Cloud): A deep understanding of the Salesforce core products, object models, automation types, and best practices
