Role Summary:This role is accountable for leading all procurement and inventory-related business processes within the organization. The consultant ensures that SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud MM functionalities are deployed effectively, consistently, and in alignment with operational needs. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams to maintain a stable, scalable, and compliant MM environment throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate and lead detailed fit-to-standard workshops covering procurement, inventory operations, and supplier management, ensuring business requirements are fully understood and correctly mapped to standard S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities.
- Configure purchasing activities, inventory processes, MRP setups, procurement workflows, and pricing conditions, ensuring alignment with best practices and system standards.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales & Distribution, and Warehouse teams to validate and support all cross-functional business scenarios, ensuring seamless end-to-end process integration.
- Define, structure, and advise on master data requirements—including materials, purchasing info records, and supplier records—ensuring data accuracy and readiness for deployment.
- Support all stages of the project delivery cycle, including test planning and execution, data migration preparation and validation, user training, cutover readiness, and post–go-live stabilization.
Skills & Experience:- Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering procurement and inventory processes within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, with the ability to troubleshoot, refine, and optimize MM functionality.
- Strong working knowledge of Fiori-based process execution and configuration, with comfort navigating and tailoring UI applications for business users.
- Solid understanding of key integrations with platforms and modules such as Ariba, Finance, and Sales & Distribution, and the ability to explain, monitor, and support those integrations in a project setting.
