Job DescriptionS.J SATELLITE INC, an authorized member of the Starlink Installer Program, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Satellite Technician to join our team of skilled professionals. In this role, you will play a crucial part in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting satellite systems to ensure seamless TV and internet services for our customers across Ontario.

Duties & Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain satellite systems (including Starlink) for residential and commercial customers
- Mount satellite dishes and run cabling safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to satellite equipment and connectivity
- Configure routers and basic networking for optimal internet performance
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow safety procedures when working at heights or in outdoor environments
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and maintenance work
Qualifications- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, Ethernet, electrical wiring, and telecommunications
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and Wi-Fi systems
- Experience using hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications- Previous experience in satellite installation or telecom field
- Experience with Starlink or similar satellite internet systems
- Safety certifications (working at heights, fall protection, etc.)
