Position Overview:As a Seating & Mobility Specialist at Boggio Family of Pharmacies, you will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals, facilities, and community partners to promote and sell a full range of complex seating, mobility, and home medical equipment solutions. The position combines clinical knowledge with consultative sales skills to identify client needs, develop customized solutions, and achieve growth objectives while ensuring exceptional customer care and compliance with provincial healthcare regulations.
Job DescriptionSales & Business Development- Prospect, develop, and manage a book of business focused on wheelchair seating, mobility devices, and related home medical equipment.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key referral sources, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, case managers, discharge planners, long-term care and retirement homes, hospitals, and community healthcare partners.
- Conduct in-person visits, assessments, demonstrations, and dispenses of seating & mobility products.
- Effectively articulate clinical and technical features, benefits, and value of product solutions to healthcare professionals and clients.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Clinical & Product Expertise- Maintain a thorough understanding of complex rehab products, seating systems, mobility devices, pressure management solutions, and related accessories.
- Participate in product training and stay current with industry technology, innovations, and clinical best practices.
- Support OT/PT professionals in identifying appropriate equipment assessments and solutions for clients with complex mobility and functional needs.
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure tailored and evidence-based recommendations.
Client Support- Conduct client assessments in homes, facilities, or clinical settings when required.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, functional and environmental needs.
- Evaluate posture, skin integrity, range of motion, and mobility limitations.
- Identify risks related to pressure injuries, positioning and mobility.
- Educate clients, caregivers, and healthcare partners on product use, safety considerations, and maintenance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on equipment delivery, set-up, adjustments, and any service concerns.
- Act as a clinical sales resource to internal teams and external referral partners.
Order & Documentation Management- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and documentation in compliance with funding policies and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with internal administrator and service department to streamline order processing and delivery.
- Keep accurate records, funding submissions, clinical notes, and sales tracking.
Compliance & Professionalism- Maintain compliance with provincial healthcare regulations (e.g., Assistive Devices Program [ADP] requirements in Ontario), funding guidelines, privacy laws, and industry best practices.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and dedication to quality service.
- Independently self-motivated and organized to establish and manage a book of business
- Maintain a Valid G Ontario Drivers License and ability to work within Vulnerable Sector client groups (Vulnerable Sector Police Check)
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements- Monday to Friday 40-hour workweek with occasional weekend or evening appointments
- Frequent travel within Niagara.
- Physical ability to lift, transport, and demonstrate mobility equipment (when required).
- Office time balanced with in-field client visits and sales meetings.
Performance Metrics- Achievement of sales revenue and growth targets.

Renumeration- Base salary plus bonuses based on sales performance

Qualifications Required- Diploma, degree, or postgraduate certification in Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Science, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related health/science field OR
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant sale, CRTS, ATP s/clinical experience.
- Registered Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (RRTS), Complex Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (CRTS), or Assistive Technology Professional designation, or willingness to obtain, is an asset.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Valid Ontario G Drivers License
Experience- Minimum of 2–5 years of consultative sales, clinical support, or rehab technology experience.
