You As a Security Manager Will- Lead the development and implementation of the Project’s Security Implementation Plan and the Construction Security Plan, including security related signage and required security designations.
- Managing overall site security, including the Security team and Guard Force teams.
- Attending any/all security related meetings with or on behalf of the Senior Project Manager and directly supporting the Senior Project Manager in the determinations regarding the impacts of security as related to constructability and schedule issues.
- Overseeing and providing quality control of the production of daily or weekly or as necessary access lists and associated badging and access process and protocols for the site.
- Overseeing the timely and accurate management of the RFV process, as governed by DCC.
- Develop and manage training plans for EllisDon security staff and Guard Force to ensure quality levels during inspections of personnel, vehicles, materials, including the IT components of site equipment and other such construction equipment entering the site.
- Ensuring the management of the security and control of unclassified and classified projects documents, drawings whether paper or electronic within the site and amongst the various project stakeholders, including subcontractors. This is to include the establishment and implementation of daily protocols to review photos taken on site to be assessed as per the Security Classification Guide for the project.
Is this the right role for you?- You have a business administration degree or diploma and a minimum of five years of security clearance administration experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- You have experience with managing security personnel.
- You have knowledge of processes for setting up construction projects and developing site specific security plans.
- You have experience as an Alternate Company Security Office (ACSO).
- You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project.
- You must have Secret Clearance through CISD (PWSGC).
The salary range for this job is $85,000-$100,000
