Mandate:The Senior Manager, Transformation & Strategic Initiatives leads high‑priority transformation efforts, including the adoption and operationalization of artificial intelligence within the Wealth Management Governance & Controls team. This role is accountable for translating strategy into execution by driving change, operational improvements, and cross‑functional initiatives that strengthen performance, effectiveness, and long‑term capability.
This is a senior individual‑contributor and people‑leadership role for an experienced manager who can operate at the intersection of strategy, AI/automation, and change management. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and teams to design, delivery and implement strategic priorities, including AI initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of strategic and operational transformation initiatives within the department
- Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI use cases and opportunities to improve processes, operating models, and ways of working
- Serve as the change leader for AI‑driven transformation within the Wealth Management Governance & Controls team
- Translate departmental priorities into clear roadmaps, initiatives, and execution plans
- Manage a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring clear scope, sequencing, dependencies, and outcomes
- Act as the change leader for departmental transformation initiatives
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and execution discipline
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of partners and stakeholders
- Serve as a central point of coordination for complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Define and track success metrics for initiatives (e.g., efficiency, effectiveness, capacity, quality, risk reduction)
- Monitor progress and outcomes, using data and feedback to adjust course as needed
Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in business transformation, strategic initiatives, program delivery, or change leadership
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives
- Strong experience translating strategy into execution and sustainable operational outcomes
- Practical understanding of AI concepts and applications
- Proven ability to drive adoption and embed change, not just deliver plans or documents
- Strong executive‑level communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities
Salary:$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
