Job Location: Interior of British Columbia (this is not a remote position). First 6 months require 100% onsite and after that can become hybrid, but still based in the Interior of B.C.

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Network Administrator with up to 10 years of verifiable Canadian work experience. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager you bring enterprise level experience and will be responsible for helping with the installation, maintenance, security, availability, monitoring, reporting and quality of services for the network (VoIP, LAN, WAN and Internet network environments) and servers (VM’s and physical), backups, databases, Active Directory, and critical business software programs.

- Have experience working with the team as technical prime on the design, redesign and implementation of configurations, connectivity and maintenance of network and servers
- Have developed and maintained network and server management procedures including the documentation of procedures for daily operational support for the network, server and application Infrastructure….This role might be for you!

You have an ability to work independently and within a team environment. Your experience and skills are broad ranging, including but not limited to working on daily operational tickets including incidents and service requests, being responsible for mobile device and endpoint management tools, such as MS Intune or similar enterprise level solutions, performing failure/root cause analysis during problem resolution process, etc.
You…- Are authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status is required) and are able to obtain Canadian Government Level 2 secret security clearance (requires up to 10 years of verifiable Canadian work history)
- Have a Post-Secondary Education in Computer Technology or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- MCSE or Azure certification.
- Experience with VMWare and bare metal servers
- Experience writing scripts (PowerShell) an asset
- Understanding of ITIL
- Are able to perform after hours work on an emergency and scheduled basis; participate in on-call rotation
- Are able to travel on occasion
Yearly Salary: $78,500 To $98,000
