We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong backend engineering experience in C# (.NET Core) and cloud‑native development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex systems, enjoys solving deep technical problems, and is passionate about bringing AI‑powered solutions into production.

You’ll be a key contributor in building scalable backend services, cloud infrastructure, AI pipelines, and integrations with clinical and imaging systems. This is a hands‑on senior‑level role requiring strong independence, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor others.

Position Summary

In this role, you will design, build, and deploy cloud‑native infrastructure and backend services that support AI model inference, clinical workflows, and large‑scale data operations. You’ll collaborate closely with AI teams, product, and engineering stakeholders to turn research‑level models into production‑ready systems.

You’ll lead efforts around microservices, DICOM/HL7 integrations, Terraform‑based infrastructure, and observability frameworks—ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance in high‑impact environments.

This role is best suited for someone who is highly autonomous, strong in backend problem solving, and comfortable owning end‑to‑end technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering & AI Integration

• Build cloud‑native backend services using C# and the latest .NET Core
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices for AI model deployment
• Work closely with AI teams to productionize models and integrate them into clinical workflows
• Implement pipelines supporting model training, inference, and monitoring

System Architecture & Integrations

• Build integrations with imaging (DICOM), clinical systems (HL7), and EHR platforms
• Design event‑driven, service‑oriented architectures
• Lead performance testing, reliability planning, and system hardening

Cloud, Infrastructure & DevOps

• Architect and deploy systems on AWS (preferred) or Azure/GCP
• Use Terraform to provision cloud resources and define IaC workflows
• Ensure security, compliance, and HIPAA‑aligned system practices
• Establish observability through metrics, dashboards, and distributed logging

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and guide engineering best practices
• Conduct code reviews, break down tasks, and drive Agile delivery
• Translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions
• Support cross‑functional partnerships with product and clinical teams

Professional Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong professional experience as a Senior Software Developer
• Deep expertise in C# and latest .NET Core backend development
• Cloud experience with AWS (Lambda, SageMaker, CloudWatch, VPC, Aurora, etc.)
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for IaC
• Experience with AI model integration into production systems
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly
• Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
