Duties- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS systems accurately.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders as needed, and manage supplies efficiently.
- Enforce restaurant policies, safety procedures, and hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times.
- Assist in resolving operational issues quickly to minimize disruptions during shifts.
Qualifications- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, with supervisory or team management background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop staff members.
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; barista experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in restaurant management or food industry roles is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct interviews and provide constructive feedback.
