We are seeking an experienced and dependable Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, including skid steer, dozer, excavator, and loader operation. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various construction machinery efficiently and safely across multiple projects. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities, including paving, grading, and site preparation.

• Operate skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and graders to perform site work tasks
• Perform general labor duties as required, including manual material handling and assisting other workers
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with site clearing, grading, grading, paving, and excavation projects
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Support additional construction activities such as horizontal drilling or backhoe operation as needed

• Proven experience operating skid steers and other heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and backhoes
• Knowledge of construction site operations and safety standards
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred but not required
• Experience with horizontal drilling or paving projects is a plus
• Valid Forklift License is Required
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy equipment
