Overview:We are seeking a Software Developer to design and build scalable APIs that integrate with a SQL-based analytics engine. This role focuses on enabling secure, high-performance data exchange across enterprise systems within a hybrid cloud and on-prem environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI or Flask)
- Integrate APIs with SQL-based analytics engines to process and return data-driven results
- Optimize database performance within Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Deploy and manage applications across hybrid (on-prem + cloud) infrastructure
- Implement secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT) and data protection practices
- Containerize applications using Docker and support orchestration via Kubernetes
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise integrations
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing
Required Skills & Experience:- Strong Python development experience (FastAPI, Flask)
- 3+ years building and deploying RESTful APIs
- 3+ years working with SQL databases (preferably MS SQL Server)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT) and data encryption practices
Nice-to-Have:- Experience in financial services or enterprise environments
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, CDK)
- Relevant cloud or data certifications
