An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an experienced Programmer.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Interpret customer drawings, blueprints and work instructions
- Create parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks
- Use NC Express software to create NC programs for Finn-Power turret punch presses
- Use TruTOPS Punch software to create NC programs for Trumpf punch presses
- Use TruTOPS Laser software to create NC programs for Trumpf laser cutting machine
- Use TruTOPS Bend software to create NC programs for Trumpf press brakes
Skills and Attributes:- Able to follow instructions both written and verbal
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good blueprint reading skills
- Adept at understanding sheet metal manufacturing
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with others
- Works independently with limited supervision, but knows when to ask questions
Experience/Qualifications:- Experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar industry is an asset
- Good SolidWorks experience, particularly in a fast-paced production environment
- NC Programming (especially laser, punching, and/or bending) experience is an asset
