The OpportunityThe position of Specialist, Event Partnerships is responsible for prospecting, cultivating, engaging and retaining corporate event sponsors to further the mission of Women's College Hospital Foundation. The incumbent must have both relationship management and fundraising event experience, be a strategic thinker and a collaborative leader, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.

The RoleReporting to the Director, Events & Community Engagement, this position plays an integral role on the Event team, and is responsible for prospecting, cultivating, engaging and retaining corporate event sponsors to further the mission of Women's College Hospital Foundation. This role requires relationship building, strategic thinking, creativity, and marketing savvy to create and secure innovative event partnerships. With a focus on developing best-in-class sponsorship assets, the Specialist will build strategies and partnerships to meet a yearly event sponsorship revenue. A dedicated team player, the role demands superior attention to detail and organization skills, excellent communication skills, creativity, critical thinking, proactivity, a proven client service approach and a keen understanding of the role of sponsorship and cause marketing as they relate to the Foundation's overall revenue generation plan.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Revenue Generation- Lead the development and execution of corporate sponsorship strategies for Foundation-managed events, aligning with overall revenue goals.
- Achieve an annual revenue target of $750,000 through new and existing sponsorships.
- Collaborate with Philanthropy to design and implement multi-tiered corporate engagement plans that foster long-term partnerships beyond events.
Business Development- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors to support annual revenue targets.
- Develop compelling proposals and pitch materials to secure corporate support.
- Identify and develop new sponsorable assets and opportunities across events and campaigns.
Sponsor Management & Activation- Act as the primary relationship manager for sponsors, leading negotiation, activation, fulfillment, and stewardship to deliver an exceptional partner experience.
- Oversee execution of all sponsorship benefits, including securing assets, approvals, and alignment with campaign collateral.
- Provide on-site leadership and support for events, including evenings and weekends as required.
Cross-functional Collaboration- Partner with Event, Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships, and Stewardship teams to ensure integrated and consistent corporate engagement.
- Contribute to long-term sponsor retention and renewal strategies, aligning event sponsorships with broader organizational partnership opportunities.
Reporting & Operations- Track performance metrics, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate data in RE/NXT.
- Monitor budgets and provide ongoing revenue projections and financial updates.
- Lead post-event evaluations and reporting on sponsorship and campaign performance.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert to internal processes, tracking, and annual reporting.
Qualifications And Skills- Minimum of five years related experience a corporate fundraising environment with demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven experience in corporate relationship development and securing successful sponsorships including activation and fulfillment.
