Position OverviewSummit Fleet is seeking a Strategic Account Manager who will grow and deepen relationships with high-value customers, serve as a trusted advisor, and expand Summit Fleet’s footprint within existing accounts. This role blends relationship management, account management, and account penetration—driving adoption of additional services such as rentals, leasing, telematics, maintenance, fuel programs, and reporting. You’ll lead strategic planning for your book of business, run QBRs, present solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes for customers.
What You’ll DoRelationship & Account Management- Own executive and operational relationships within a defined portfolio of strategic accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for account planning, escalations, and ongoing performance.
- Lead QBRs and executive business reviews, presenting performance, insights, and roadmaps.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery by partnering with Operations, Maintenance, and Customer Success.
Account Growth & Penetration- Build and execute growth plans to expand rentals, leasing, telematics, maintenance coordination, fuel/fuel card solutions, and reporting tools.
- Identify whitespace and cross-sell/upsell opportunities across business units and locations.
- Lead discovery to quantify customer needs (e.g., duty cycles, utilization, TCO, safety/ESG goals).
- Develop proposals, pricing options, and ROI models; negotiate terms and renewals.
Presentation & Commercial Execution- Build compelling client presentations and solution narratives tailored to industry and business outcomes.
- Run multi-threaded sales motions, coordinate demos (e.g., telematics), and manage pilots/trials.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and partner with Legal/Finance on contract structures and pricing strategies.
Performance, Forecasting & Reporting- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) across account expansion opportunities.
- Track KPIs: growth, retention, NPS/CSAT, utilization, uptime, on-time maintenance, safety/telematics adoption.
- Analyze fleet data and present actionable insights to improve cost, safety, and productivity.
Cross-Functional Leadership- Collaborate with Product/IT to roll out telematics and reporting solutions.
- Coordinate with Operations for vehicle availability, delivery timelines, and service SLAs.
- Advocate for customer needs and influence internal priorities to ensure customer outcomes.

What You’ll Bring- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- 5–8+ years in strategic account management, enterprise customer success, or B2B sales.
- Experience in fleet, commercial vehicles, leasing/rental, telematics/IoT, mobility, logistics, or transportation highly preferred.
