Job Title:SVP, IT & Security

The Client:Our client is a financial services organization undergoing strategic technology and security modernization.
What you will achieve in this role:- Drive enterprise technology strategy, ensuring robust information and cybersecurity posture.
- Oversee all IT functions, including infrastructure, application development, support operations, and information security.
- Support operational resilience and risk management objectives using relevant regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic plan as part of the executive leadership team.
- Provide timely technology and security insights to support organizational decision?making.
- Lead cyber and information security to protect digital assets and ensure security standards, policies, and protocols are maintained.
- Oversee incident response processes and lead responses to security incidents.
- Ensure the credit union operates at optimum infrastructure levels and implements the systems roadmap.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives and enhance tools and processes for efficiency.
- Develop and maintain IT governance, IT risk framework, and third?party vendor compliance.
- Provide regular updates on IT strategy and risk mitigation to senior leadership and governance bodies.
What you must bring to this role:- 15+ years of total experience and 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Executive?level experience overseeing IT, information security, infrastructure, development, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage IT risks, lead cybersecurity programs, and oversee incident response.
- Proven leadership capability, including coaching teams, fostering accountability, and ensuring adequate staffing and succession planning.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA is considered an asset.
