Position Overview:Reporting into the Vice President, Technology Strategy and Performance the Technology Delivery Consultant role serves as a strategic liaison with external service providers (E.g. CIBC), ensuring the delivery of high-quality business solutions aligned with organizational objectives. The role is accountable for driving the prioritization, and execution of business requirements. Additionally, this position ensures that IT communications is targeted, impactful, and supports business outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Acts as the subject matter expert, empowering CIBC Mellon business users through training and guidance on technology service request intake tools. Owns and oversees the end-to-end process for the creation, submission, and monitoring of service requests, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Represents and advocates for CIBC Mellon business partners in decision-making forums, driving the prioritization of initiatives, resource allocation, and scheduling of solution activities with service providers. Ensures that business interests are reflected in all technology delivery decisions.
- Leads enterprise stakeholders in the evaluation, review, and approval of technology service request prioritization. Exercises decision-making authority to ensure resources are directed to initiatives that support corporate strategy, regulatory compliance, and mandatory technology requirements.
- Provides timely and transparent updates to enterprise stakeholders and business partners on the progress of service requests. Ensures that corporate technology priorities are clearly communicated, understood, and managed.
- Designs and governs IT communication and documentation standards, templates, and best practices. Ensures consistency and quality in all IT communications, aligned with Corporate Communications policies.
- Develops and executes comprehensive communication programs to promote IT services, capabilities, and achievements. Oversees the creation of monthly and annual technology reports, process improvements, training initiatives, and the introduction of new technologies.
- Maintains and continuously improves content for IT communication portals (e.g., Connected pages), manages the IT Communications mailbox, and ensures all inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Leads the management and continuous improvement of IT records management programs, including regular review and approval of policies, procedures, and processes.
- Develops, implements, and maintains Information Technology and Administration team policies, standards, and support procedures. Ensures all documentation adheres to best practices and corporate guidelines.
Qualifications:- University degree in a technology discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of progressive IT experience, including managing and delivering IT projects and application implementations.
- Project co-ordination and extensive organizational skills.
- Ability to represent the IS organization within CIBC Mellon and with external service providers.
- Strong client service orientation.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.

Job Specific Competencies:- The base salary range for this position is between $84,000 - $126,000 dependent on relevant experience.
